Christina Rees, MP for Neath, is encouraging constituents to shop local this Christmas and to support small businesses as we approach Small Business Saturday on 5 December.
Small Business Saturday is an annual celebration of small businesses where they can publicise their products and services and work with mentors to build their businesses.
This year small businesses have faced unprecedented struggles and Christina would like to take this opportunity to voice her support for all the local Neath small businesses that have worked so hard during this pandemic to continue their businesses online and to support the local community.
Christina Rees MP said:
“Our small businesses are at the heart of our community and we must do all we can to support them through what will be a tough Christmas and winter period.
“I know that large online marketplaces make shopping for presents and gifts easier, but I also know that we have some fantastic local shops in our small corner of the world that offer quality and local products. I would encourage all constituents to shop local where possible and to support our fantastic local small businesses.
“If any small businesses are struggling, please do get in touch with my office for help on 01639 630152 or via email on christina.rees.mp@parliament.uk.”
