Christina Rees, MP for Neath, has expressed her support for this year’s Anti-Bullying Week campaign, “United Against Bullying”.
The Anti-Bullying Alliance are a coalition of organisations and individuals who work together to stop bullying and create safer environments in which young people and children can grow up and develop in safety and happiness.
Christina Rees MP said:
“I know the terrible impact that bullying can have on people, even long after the event. The impact of bullying behaviour can be deeply damaging and leave mental scars that last for a lifetime.
“It’s up to all of us to stand together and vow to tackle bullying wherever we see it. To mark anti-bullying week, I’m reaffirming my commitment never to stand by, but to always stand up and speak out wherever and whenever I see bullying”.
